Judith , together with her brother Plugg ( Ernest Jnr) was a second generation puppeteer - their mother and father , Muriel and Ernest Snr formed the Mejandes Marionettes in 1953 . The Mejandes performed throughout the London and home counties for three decades with live marionette shows - as well as featuring artists on numerous television shows for both BBC and ITV.
