Art Douglas is a second degree blackbelt sensei in Yoshukai Karate for Gerry Blanck’s Martial Arts, as well as a writer/director/cinematographer/editor for various documentaries and short films.
Art graduated cum laude from the USC School of Cinema/Television.
His feature length dramatic screenplay "Jared's Noose" was selected as a runner-up for Best Drama in the 2004 Beverly Hills Screenwriting Competition.
In 2008, Art was chosen to be the "voice of Powerbar Nutrition" and filmed and edited prestigious elite races such as the Kona Ironman Triathlon, the Real Deal para-mixed endurance race in Colorado for NBC’s Jeep World and the Boston Marathon.
In 2016, his short film "The Master & Me" was nominated for Best Horror/Comedy and Best Actor at the Fantastic Horror Film Festival in San Diego, CA, ultimately winning Best Actor for late horror icon Irwin Keyes.
