She is also the recipient of a Gold Student Academy Award for her stop-motion animated film, "Alice's Attic" (2008), awarded by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Robyn specializes in stop-motion animation, contributing to short films, commercials, music videos, and various episodic television series. She is a member of IATSE Local 729, working as a faux scenic artist for Emmy-winning shows like "Tumble Leaf" and "The Muppet Mayhem."
After earning her BFA in Painting and Photography from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, Robyn moved to Los Angeles, where she received her MFA in Animation from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
