  • Stopped designing posters in 1998 when studios turned away from hand-drawn artwork to use Photoshop and other digital tools. Until Quentin Tarantino called him out of nowhere, looking for him to design posters for his vintage spaghetti Western film Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019).
  • Landed a job as an apprentice lithographer at the Zoppelli printing house and worked for a year as an illustrator for the film ad agency Studio Favalli in Rome before opening his own studio at age 21.
  • At the age of 19 in 1954, he moved to Rome to work in Augusto Favalli's studio, where he learned the techniques and tricks of the trade.
  • In 2022, the city of Treviso dedicated a great exhibition curated by Studio Esseci to him, with over 170 posters exhibited in three city locations, including the National Museum of the Salce Collection, which reserved a permanent area for him.
  • As a boy, he painted by hand of large silhouettes placed at the entrance of the Garibaldi Cinema and the Esperia Cinema in Treviso.
