- Miikka Leskinen is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker and editor working in feature film and high-end television. Originally from Finland and trained at Britain's National Film and Television School, he has cut everything from art house cinema and prestige documentary to Star Wars.
His recent work includes the feature thriller Zero Protocol, starring Rebecca Hall and Marcia Gay Harden for Amazon, and the Apple TV crime series 12 12 12, starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan. He cut the opening episodes of Guy Ritchie's Amazon series Young Sherlock and was lead editor on Leslye Headland's Star Wars: The Acolyte for Lucasfilm and Disney+.
Earlier credits include the Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated Virunga and the Golden Globe-nominated Netflix series The Serpent. Films he has edited have played at Cannes, Venice, the Berlinale and Sundance. He received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing as the writer, co-director and editor of the feature documentary In the Cold Dark Night for ABC and Sky.
