Faina Georgievna Epifanova is a Soviet artist and animator, director of a number of promotional films. She participated in the creation of more than 150 animated films.

Faina graduated from the graphic department of art-courses under the guidance of the famous Russian artist Fyodor Rerberg. The cradle of her work as an animator was the "Experimental Multimaster" (1934-1935) and the Mosfilm film studio (1935-1936). However, the studio of Soyuzmultfilm became the place where her talent was revealed in her work, where Faina Georgievna worked for 37 years (from 1936 to 1973). She was also the director of the Multtelefilm studio - TO Screen. Her directorial debut in the animation was the cartoon "Case N...", released in 1964.

Faina Epifanova was the wife of the animator Boris Dyozhkin.
