Georgios Hristoforidis

Georgios Christoforidis was a Greek stage actor whose career was closely connected with one of Greece's most prominent theatrical families. Born into a family of actors, he was the son of Periklis Christoforidis and Eleni Veroni, while his siblings Themistoklis Christoforidis, Anthippi Christoforidou-Kokkou, and Eleni Christoforidou-Nafpliotou also pursued acting careers. His earliest documented stage appearance dates to 1917 at the Municipal Theatre of Athens in the production "O gios tou Psiloriti". He continued a family tradition that extended to the next generation, as his children, Periklis Hristoforidis and Stella Hristoforidou, also became well-known actors. Christoforidis remained active on stage throughout his life and died while performing in Lamia, reflecting a lifelong dedication to the theater.
