Shane Vahey

Shane studied filmmaking in Canada, where she made her first short films as writer, director and producer. Her 16 mm experimental student film was aired by Roger's Cable Television. She has also directed stage plays by Canadian and Irish playwrights. She later wrote scripts for two award-winning short films, the comedy, Last Minute Doubts (1998), set in Moscow and an experimental short The Garden (2000), which played to acclaim at US festivals. Other short films include The Ice Cream Van.
