- Born in Calgary and raised in Medicine Hat, Canada, Frederick graduated from the University of Alberta's BFA acting program in Edmonton and spent the next 22 years working primarily in Edmonton's professional live theatre community. Frederick went on to study digital film production at Vancouver's Langara college while earning a BA in International Studies from Simon Fraser University. Although Frederick has turned his attention to both the V.O. and Screen industries he is still a well regarded stage actor, having been nominated for three Outstanding Actor Sterling (Edmonton Theatre) awards and receiving one Outstanding Actor (Edmonton Theatre) Sterling award.
