Fishers, Indiana-based director/producer/cinematographer Philip Paluso's professional history includes working for the San Diego Tribune daily newspaper immediately out of college, to being a network television promotion executive at Fox Broadcasting in Los Angeles, and then turning his artistic energy into creative leadership for video production companies in the Indianapolis market, producing national and international advertising, promotion and entertainment programs. Since 2009, he's owned/operated the Creative/Production company, Medium Cool Pictures.

Paluso's credits include national award-winning corporate, commercial and documentary programs for Fox Broadcasting, Toyota, Cummins, the NCAA, Cirque du Soleil, Live Nation, and USA Track & Field, including producing that sport's annual Hall of Fame induction videos for over 20 years. He shot and produced that organization's 30th Anniversary documentary in 2014.

The list of accolades for his writing and directing includes Tellys, Videographer, and Vision awards. His five-part documentary series about legendary Indiana sports legends and teams each garnered Aurora awards, with the episode "Remember the Aces" about the 1977 University of Evansville basketball team air disaster winning a Best of Show in the Documentary category. Another Aurora Award was earned for a multi-spot TV campaign for USA Track & Field when he was bestowed a Best of Show award in the Campaign category.

His documentary "Wings for Maggie Ray," which explores the life of aviator Margaret Ringenberg, who answered her country's call to duty in World War II and ultimately became a revered flying legend, won the Bronze Plaque Award at the 61st Annual Columbus (Ohio) International Film Festival. The film was picked up by American Public Television and aired on PBS stations nationwide.

Paluso oversaw the production management and directed the multiple cameras for Blue Man Group's "Complex Rock Tour Live" DVD, shot over two days at the Next Stage Amphitheatre in Grand Prairie, TX. The DVD eventually attained multi-platinum status. He recently served as DP and producer on the independent short "Breathe," produced by The Blue House, and the DP on the independent paranormal features from Dan T. Hall, "Scalers - Dark Spirit," and "Greek Fire."
