Emile Coué(1857-1926)

Dr. Coué was educated at the Lycee of Troyes, and became a hospital interne and practicing pharmacist for thirty years. He developed a health theory of "Auto Suggestion", where the individual masters his ailments by the power of will. His concept spread wide, becoming quite popular in America, which Coué toured in 1923 and 1924. Large audiences paid to hear his lectures, which funded his Coué clinic in Paris. His philosophy was summed up in the famous motto "Day By Day in Every Way I Am Getting Better And Better." He authored the book "Self-Mastery by Conscious Auto-Suggestion."
