- My big thing is that nobody is involved in my artistic creations and not putting their hands and their ideas into that. Because there's business people and there are art people you know? And I want to keep that very separate.
- I want to be a touring act, I want to play all the time, and I want to be part of the singer-songwriter crew and be known as a singer-songwriter more than just a pop act.
- We've all been through a lot in our family and my mom, she's always stuck there and she's been taking care of all of us. Without her, we'd all been dead. She provided us with everything and at the end of the day she's the reason why I'm here and I just love her.
- I always go back to classical music. That's kind of been a recent discovery for me, but I find it a soothing. The compositions are so dynamic, so vast. I've been going back to pianists playing Beethoven, Chopin or Debussy.
