Pietro Cusimano is an Italian-Australian 1st Assistant Camera with over 20 years of experience across film and television. He began his career working on 35mm productions, developing a strong technical foundation in photo chemical workflows on films such as Vincere and Salvo , the latter awarded at the Cannes Critics' Week.
He has since worked on major international productions including Eden, Better Man, and Run Rabbit Run, as well as television series such as Wentworth, Preacher, and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, specializing as a focus puller and 1st AC across a range of camera systems.
Cusimano is known for his technical precision, adaptability, and strong understanding of cinematographic workflows, combining traditional film discipline with contemporary digital production.
