Marjan Alizadeh (Keramati) is a seasoned film executive and distribution specialist dedicated to fostering emerging talent in the global film industry. Her productions have earned recognition at prestigious festivals, including the Locarno Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, and IDFA (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam), among others.
With a strong academic foundation, Ms. Alizadeh holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of the Middle East, along with postgraduate qualifications in Film and Television Business from Centennial College (Canada) and Distribution & Cinema Management from La Fémis (France).
Her extensive experience spans film production, sales, and marketing, having held senior leadership positions in the international film industry. As Senior Manager of International Sales & Marketing at ArtHouse Cinematheque, she played a key role in strategic licensing and programming for high-caliber film and television productions targeting a global audience.
Ms. Alizadeh is also the founder and former owner of IranArtHouse Film, where she established the company as a leading distribution entity in the Middle East. Under her leadership, the company launched an in-flight content division and curated a diverse catalog of third-party content. Additionally, she served as the Director of Distribution at Iran Novin Film, managing content licensing for both scripted and non-scripted projects across domestic and international markets.
