Biography

Hailing from the small town of Celle, Germany, Shaunte Knight began martial arts training by the time he was ten years old. As Shaunte entered his early teens, he had won several large championships in a variety of Martial Arts techniques in Germany and later greater Europe. Shaunte has since studied and competed in Martial Arts, Jiu-Jitsu, Taikwondoo, Kick and Thai Boxing, Wrestling and Wing Chun.

Since moving to the United States seven years ago, Shaunte has been most heavily involved in studying the art form of Wing Chun with his Sifu (master) Hawkins Cheung. Shaunte continuously applies these teachings and practices to his stunt and choreography work as well as instructing classes for most all Martial-Arts forms; including Wing Chun.

Shaunte moved to America with the goal of using his variety of martial arts experience and training to become a professional actor and/or stunt professional. Shaunte possesses rare talent and abilities to quickly adapt himself to all acting and stunt situations with the confidence to improvise should the need arise. Shaunte is above all passionate about his training and devotion to his art-form and reflects that in his work ethic and on-screen presence.
