Sharon McNerney

Sharon is most known for acting in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (Disney TV series), Repo (a comedy starring Jason Mewes, Izabella Miko and Ben Gourley) and The Sanguine (a medieval fantasy film spun around a feudal family’s warlord).
Born in the land of a thousand lakes (Minnesota) and raised just north of Houston, Texas, Sharon was torn between pursuing interior design, acting or a business degree after high school. Sharon's passion for acting won and brought her to acting classes in Houston and then to Los Angeles.
While in Los Angeles, Sharon trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts summer program, Improv Olympic, and other various acting schools, built up her acting credits, booked several modeling print jobs, and earned a B.A. in Film Production with a minor in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach. She also interned at Paramount Studios on The Doctors TV show for one semester.
Sharon later returned to her home state of Texas to live closer to family, which led her to working at Fox Sports in The Woodlands for three years supporting broadcast and commercial logistics. She also did eventually earn a business degree, which was through an MBA at Rice University with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, blending her love of the arts with business. Sharon continued to and still does decorate homes as a hobby also.
Never one to overthink a good adventure, Sharon later took a trip to Chicago on a whim to tour the city and drop into an improv class at Second City. She enjoyed the class so much that she continued the improv classes virtually once back home in Houston. Sharon resides in Houston now (though she refers to Los Angeles as her second home since she loves visiting there) where you can find her enjoying acting, decorating, dabbling in entrepreneurship, yoga, Pilates, travel and her three cats.
Fun Facts: Worked in mergers/acquisitions consulting for 5 years; Worked at Fox Sports supporting broadcast and commercial logistics for 3 years; Interned at Paramount Studios (Los Angeles) on The Doctors TV Show for 1 semester; Completed stand-in/background work early on in her acting career to gain professional set exposure; Was in the Marketing, Real Estate and Wine Club while studying at Rice University; Was in the Surf Club while studying at California State University, Long Beach.
