Overview

  • Height
    6′ (1.83 m)

Biography

  • A print artist and writer, Kimball Carr began his career in comic books, authoring the well-received "Shadow Agents" series which was distributed to the United States and UK. During several years writing in the commercial and industrial production worlds, Carr authored a variety of short and feature film scripts as well as television pilots, some produced and others languishing in development.

In 2003 Carr wrote, produced and directed the suspense thriller "Revolver" which received film festival praise and positive reviews from screenings in New York and Los Angeles.

Carr wrote, produced and directed "Samaritan" in 2006, which received strong reviews and also marked the first example of long-form filmmaking using non-tape or film based media - Carr beating several well-known directors to this technical innovation.

In 2012 Carr hosted and produced the first episode of "Left, Right & You" - a Web documentary series exploring the two party political system in America. The pilot was shot on locations in New York City, the Valley of Fire in Nevada, Las Vegas and Kauai, Hawaii. For "Left, Right & You" Carr received the second of his Telly awards for direction, the first coming two years earlier for commercial direction.

In 2015 Carr wrote, produced and directed "Nobody But Us" an experimental short film based on the song "Miss Gradenko" by The Police which was featured at festivals throughout the United States. He continues to write spec material for television, film and stage.
