Played 4 years of college tennis. He was also a competitive junior tennis player ranked #1 in the Texas section, #3 in the Southern section, and #19 in the United States.
Attended the Savannah College of Art and Design - Atlanta (SCAD Atlanta). Graduated with a B.A. in Television Producing, specializing in screenwriting.
