Bianca Boragi

Bianca Boragi is an emerging filmmaker/actor and an interdisciplinary artist. She is a MFA candidate at Yale University as part of the Sculpture department. French- American (dual citizenship), she was born in 1985, raised in Paris, where she did her debut in Cinema in 1992 in A Demain starring Jeanne Moreau and Francois Cluzet, directed by Didier Martiny. She then studied Theatre with Sarah Pepe and integrated her company while she was a teenager. She obtained her BFA from ENSAPC in 2009 majoring in experimental video, and moved to New York, where she has been living for the past five years. She studied acting at Terry Schreiber Studio and Yale University School of Drama. Her work has been exhibited in Paris at Cent Quatre, Abbaye de Maubuisson, Theatre des Louvrais, in Essen, Germany at the Pact Zullverein, in Los Angeles at CalArts, at Brooklyn FireProof NY, Paren- thesis Art Space NY, NURTUREart Gallery NY, Kalopsia Gallery, Edinburgh, Scotland, Union Street Gallery, Chicago, IL, where she won an award for the video Rapunzel. Also at Verum Ultimum Gallery, Portland, OR, Chashama Gallery, NY, Gibney Gallery NY, Feldenheimer Gallery, Portland, OR. She is currently part of two selected group exhibitions at Verum Ultimum Gallery, Portland OR for Tributary, and Metanoia Gallery, Paris, France for A Single Grain of Rice. Her films have recently been screened at UnionDocs NY, and Katra Film Series,NY. She is currently writing the screenplay of her first feature film, planned to be released in 2017. As an actress she worked for Boardwalk Empire Season 5, National IPhone Application commercial, and short films.
