Sebastien Chesneau

Sébastien founded Cercamon, a worldwide film sales company based in Dubai that now has more than 50 feature length films in its catalog, all selected in A-festivals which received many recognitions along the way. Since then, he has continued to build the portfolio of the company. Early, 2022, Cercamon expanded to documentaries. Prior to starting Cercamon, Sébastien spent 15 years in International Distribution at various companies like Celluloid Dreams or France Televisions. He has been responsible for worldwide sales of many prestigious international films that have premiered in major film festivals, such as Cannes, Berlin, Sundance, Venice and Toronto. He has worked with filmmakers as diverse as Dardenne Brothers, Xavier Dolan, Jacques Audiard, Julie Delpy, Michael Haneke, Todd Haynes, Kore-Eda Hirokasu, Jafar Panahi, Todd Solondz, François Ozon...

He received a Master's Degree in International Economics at Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris, France.
