- Jayne took a degree course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) in Glasgow. Previous students include Bill Paterson, David Tennant, Daniela Nardini, Billy Boyd, James McAvoy, Dawn Steele, Patrick Doyle.
- In addition to her acting and singing talents, Jayne also plays the piano and trumpet.
