  • Sean Michael Davis started his passion for the entertainment industry at a young age. He was raised by two generations of broadcast industry professionals. After Sean graduated high school he attended Full Sail Center for the recording Arts (1988) with a degree in sound engineering. Sean then migrated to the film industry, were he interned on a TV series (Swamp Thing - USA Network) until the season ended. Sean entered the film world with a passion for cinematography so he started working on several low budget short films and music video's. Sean also teamed up with other industry professionals to compete in many 48 hour film contests, eventually winning Best Director (A Minute Too Late - 2008). Sean continued his passion for creative filmmaking and directing as he partnered with several other filmmakers to create a TV short (Pawned) which not only took home 4 Crystal Reel Awards including Best Director but also won Best Florida Film from Sunscreen Film Festival. Pawn'd was also pitched to Comedy Central as a series and was almost signed. Sean then partnered with another team as the Director of Photography on a period piece documentary (Charlie Wall - 2009) which won Best Cinematography at the Sunscreen Film Festival. At the same time the music video for the Bouvilles's Sean had been Director of Photography on also won Best Music Video. In 2010 Sean was offered the opportunity to work on the show COPS. (Langley Productions) Sean took his talents into the "trenches" of true reality TV and mastered his camera art of "Cinema Verite". Sean worked on COPS (FOX) for three seasons working as a Field Producer as well as shooting for their other show JAILED (SPIKE TV) While working on COPS Sean started his own documentary film (Skyway Down) after watching a young lady jump off the bridge to her death. Sean spent about three years shooting and fine-tuning the film until its completion and then submitted it to Sunscreen Film Festival again winning Best Florida Film. (2011). He then donated the film to the Sheriffs office and the Highway patrol which they now both use as a training aid for new recruits. Sean is the only Florida resident to win Best Florida Film twice from the Sunscreen Film Festival. Sean also served on the board for IADT (International Academy of Design and Technology) as a technical advisor for their film program while he opened Rhino Studios in downtown St. Petersburg offering a full production studio. Sean took this opportunity to also mentor young filmmakers from both Full Sail and IADT. As well as working on feature films such as Dolphin Tale and The Punisher, filmed in Tampa/ Clearwater, Sean has shot for major networks such as FOX, CBS, HGTV, The Cooking channel, HSN, ID, National Geographic, The Weather Channel, Food Network, ESPN, USA Network House Hunters and Emeril's Florida. Sean currently shoots foe WWE and Motor trend. Sean recently authored his first book "Shoot To Thrill" which is on Amazon / Kindle.
