Biography

Nikki Love is a talented producer and line producer specializing in the physical production of filmmaking from development to post production. She has produced festival and award winning feature films, short films, web series and music videos. She creates tight budgets and has great crew and equipment at her disposal. She specializes in making quality projects at reasonable costs.

She produced/line produced the indie film that swept the festivals, THE LAST FALL, sports drama written and directed by Matthew A. Cherry who earned an Academy Award for his animated short, HAIR LOVE. She also wrote and produced the hard hitting short film POST LIFE, starring Erica Ash and directed by Salli Richardson-Whitfield. The film has been used to shed light on postpartum psychosis and is currently being used in perinatal health groups. In 2018, produced the Sundance selection, A BOY. A GIRL. A DREAM, a rarely achieved one take, one day production. She went on to produce ChloexHalle music video for the Disney soundtrack WRINKLE IN TIME, live events for SONY'S "Don't Breathe" hit film and numerous films for BETher & BET. All of these projects became huge hits with audiences and are still available across multiple platforms.

Putting her talent and skills to use, Nikki most recently signed on as VP of Development & Production for ALLBLK (formerly UMC), AMC Network's popular streaming service for Black TV and film. In this role, Love serves as a liaison between the streaming service and content providers during script development, production, and post-production to ensure quality and premium programming for ALLBLK and is the on-set executive for all original series. Guided by her leadership and creative expertise, ALLBLK has seen explosive triple-digit growth due to the strength of its quality original programming and relationships with an expanding universe of loyal subscribers. ALLBLK highlights Black voices across the diaspora through fresh, original series, feature films, documentaries, stage plays, and other popular Black entertainment.

Love's leadership is integral to AMC Networks' efforts to showcase diverse content in front and of and behind the scenes. As she drives success for ALLBLK's streaming service, she also dedicates herself to the artists and employees in her charge, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment in her workplace and on her sets. Her work is exemplary and has earned her a 2021 Luminary Award from NAMIC (National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications) as well as the 2022 Wonder Women LA Award.
