- Slusser is proven brand builder, successful entrepreneur, and entertainment executive with 20 years in sports, digital media, development, production, and live events. Slusser oversees Paramount Network's sports, specials, live events and the critically acclaimed "I AM" documentary series. He also oversees the annual celebrity-fest, "Guys Choice Awards," "One Night Only," and "Rock The Troops" events.
In 2012 Slusser was promoted to Senior Vice President, Sports and Branded Entertainment, where he was charged with creating live, multi-platform, socially driven events. He oversaw Bellator MMA, GLORY Kickboxing and Premier Boxing Champions as well as documentaries, sports programming and live events including E3, Comic-Con and others.
In 2007 Slusser was elevated to Senior Vice President and spearheaded the creation of Spike Digital Entertainment which included Spike.com (formally iFilm), GameTrailers, UltimateFighter and GameTrailers TV - a weekly TV show on SpikeTV where Slusser served as Executive Producer.
In 1997 Slusser founded Hornet Inc. What started out as two computers in a one-room office, Hornet now has over 100 employees and operates studios in Los Angeles and New York. Hornet is an award winning commercial production and design company that creates computer animation, motion graphics, and live-action content. As CEO, Slusser oversaw the day to day operations of all divisions of Hornet as well as guiding the strategic direction of the company.
In 2003 Slusser and Hornet acquired ownership in GameTrailers.com, a video website dedicated to video games and Slusser was named CEO. GameTrailers quickly grew and was acquired by Viacom in 2006. As part of the acquisition Slusser was named General Manager and Vice President, MTV Networks.
After graduating from USC in marketing and finance, Slusser worked for the LA Clippers in public relations, finance and special business projects.
