Biography

Andy Demetrio is a British actor, screenwriter, and singer whose career spans film, television, and theatre in both the United Kingdom and the United States. His screen credits include recurring roles in The Chosen and Days of Our Lives, along with appearances in The Last Ship, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, and Star Trek Into Darkness.

Demetrio received the Outstanding Lead Actor Award at the LA Web Festival for his performance as Terry in the award-winning series The Full English. His portrayal of "Papas" in Ilias Pilastiros' acclaimed drama was praised for its emotional depth and authenticity.

A classically trained stage actor, Demetrio portrayed Elvis Presley in Bill Kenwright's Elvis The Musical in London's West End and on its UK national tour. His theatre credits also include leading performances as Ray in The Men's Room and Detective Dave Kugan in the stage adaptation of Christopher McQuarrie's The Usual Suspects.

Born in London, England, to Greek Cypriot parents, Demetrio trained at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts before continuing his studies in Method Acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and the Meisner Technique. His career has been defined by a versatility that has enabled him to move seamlessly between dramatic and comedic roles on both stage and screen.

In addition to acting, Demetrio is a screenwriter and Christian country recording artist performing under the name Drew Faith.
