Itziar Castro was born on February 14, 1977 in Barcelona, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. She was an actress and producer, known for Killing God (2017), [REC] 3: Genesis (2012) and Pieles (2017). She died on December 8, 2023 in Lloret de Mar, Girona, Catalunya, Spain.

Castro died in a municipal swimming pool of Lloret de Mar while rehearsing for a synchronised swimming performance.

She was nominated to the Goya Award for Best New Actress for her participation in the movie "Skins".

In 2020, she made a cameo in Woody Allen's film Rifkin's Festival.

Itziar Castro was a Spanish actress.

She landed her first role in a feature film in Unconscious (2003).
