  • Nosson Dovid Kohn was born in Los Angeles, California on May 29, 1979. He attended Jewish Private day School, first at Hillel Hebrew Academy, from grades Nursery through Kindergarten. He then switched to Yeshiva Rav Isaacson Toras Emes Academy, from grades Pre-1A through 8th Grade. While there, his musical talents began to shine, and he was a member of the Toras Emes Boys Choir for 3 consecutive years. For High School, he attended Yeshiva Gedola of L.A. for 9th and 10th, and then transferred to Ner Israel Rabbinical College for 11th and 12th, as well as 2 more years in Beis Medrash, earning his Bachelor in Talmudic Law. Nosson then went to Israel to study at Kamenetz Yeshiva in Jerusalem for 1 year. He then transferred to Diaspora Yeshiva on Mount Zion, Jerusalem, the location of the burial site of King David as well as all the Kings of Israel, including King Solomon. Nosson then began working on a farm in the upper Galilee as a shepard in the mountains above Yavniel. After that, he returned to Jerusalem and was nominated as the Director of the Museum of Psalms, composing the artwork of Moshe Berger, who painted one painting for each of the 150 Psalms. Berger's art collection was turned into a Museum by the Israeli Government. Nosson then returned to Los Angeles and began his acting and singing career. He starred in Nike's upcoming feature film "Nothing But the Truth" coming out in September 2007, with multiple roles - from a fake camera man dressed in drag, to the lead singer of a Rock Band. He also starred in multiple roles in "The Search for Caravaggio" to be released in 2007, as a Singing Monk. Nosson has starred in 3 Jewish Impact films, headed by David Sacks, writer and Producer of such hits as "The Simpsons" and "Malcom in the Middle," starring in carwash, as well as Shaboss and Shavuos.
