As a part of winning America's Next Top Model (2003), her prizes were $100,000 contract with "Covergirl" cosmetics, a modeling contract with "Elite" models and a 6-page fashion editorial in "Seventeen" magazine.

Appeared as a guest star on One Tree Hill (2003), as a challenge win.

Appeared in some ads for medications to treat psoriasis, and for a brief period she was a spokesperson for the psoriasis foundation.

Suffers from psoriasis and believed her dreams of being a model would be unattainable, but now injects herself weekly with Raptiva to keep it under control.

Despite dealing with Psoriaris and getting paid to advertise medications to treat the disease, she made posts on her Instagram and Twitter accounts encouraging people to stop taking their biologic medications during the early days of the Covid-19 Pandemic and lockdown in the United States in March 2020, which was against the medical orientation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (aka CDC) and the World Health Organization. The National Psoriasis Foundation reacted to her post on Twitter by denying that she was their spokesperson and said that "the decision to stop a biologic or oral systemic therapy is a decision that should be made in conjunction with a healthcare provider". A few months later, CariDee told on her Instagram while replying to comments that she was still taking her biologic medication, contradicting her previous statements.
