Born and raised in a community of traveling funfair folks, Kevin Van Doorslaer is a graduate of the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. He is now an accomplished, multilingual, and internationally recognized actor, writer, and director.
Throughout his career, Kevin has collaborated with renowned stars such as Russell Crowe, Jean Reno, Jean Dujardin, and Jean-Claude Van Damme, among others.
Kevin has written and directed numerous stage productions, as well as the award-winning short film "Rendez-vous mè Dieu". His feature film De Ville en Ville received support from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and is in pre-production.
In addition to his work in film and theater, Kevin is the founder of the renowned theater and film school, The Acting Studio Brussels. He is also a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and earned second place at the 2024 European Championship in Paris.
Kevin is the proud father of two daughters, Jo and Brooklyn. Jo carries on the family tradition of traveling from town to town with the carnival, while Brooklyn will appear in his upcoming film 5 Past 12.
