Biography

Wafah Dufour was born on May 23, 1975 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Her paternal half-uncle is Osama bin Laden, one of the founders of al-Qaeda. At the time of the September 11, 2001, attacks, he was leading the Islamic terrorist organization. Consequently, she changed her surname from bin Ladin to Dufour, her mother's maiden name.

Attended law school in Geneva, Switzerland and New York City before dropping out and deciding to become a singer.
