A classically trained actress and fight choreographer, Kris has studied with some of RADA's most distinguished teachers: Julian Glover, Bill Homewood, Richard Ryan and Patsy Rodenburg. As well as with North Carolina School of the Arts drama teacher, Ron Dortch, who influenced her direction as a performer. While in London, Kris's critically acclaimed stage play "Feathers," which she both produced and directed, premiered at the Link Theater. She is a proud member of the Actors' Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild, Society of American Fight Directors, British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat and International Virginia Woolf Society.

Her father works in marketing and mother is a professor of journalism. She grew up with her mom in the editing room of PBS.
She is a member of the International Virginia Woolf Society.
She is the founder and artistic director of the Shakespeare's Sister Company, an all-female theater company producing classical and new works by female writers.
Prior to appearing as the French maid Muffy in Not Another Heist Movie (2010), Kris served as Freud and Jung's illustrious maids in the World Premiere of Carey Harrison play "Scenes From a Misunderstanding" at the Mint Theater in New York, later moving to the Byrdcliffe Theater in Woodstock.
Actress Shirley Knight serves on the advisory board of her theater company, the Shakespeare's Sister Company.

It's remarkable really how much of her work, thoughts, mannerisms and words have trickled down through the generations. She represents truth and love in their most raw and vulnerable form. She's timeless.
(On writing) Somehow I write my future love interests in my work before I even meet them. I guess the universe is listening. Suppose a Romantic Comedy is next on the horizon!
