Biography

Amy Winfrey is an American animator, writer, director and producer. She created the web cartoons Making Fiends, Big Bunny and Muffin Films, with Making Fiends also appearing on Nicktoons Network. She animated on the early seasons of South Park as well as the 1999 film Bigger, Longer and Uncut. Amy has worked as a director on several television series, most notably directing on all six seasons of the Netflix series BoJack Horseman, including both episodes that were nominated for Emmys, "Free Churro" and "The View from Halfway Down," and the Annie award-winning episodes, "The Dog Days are Over" and "The Client." She is married to Peter Merryman.
