Mr. Breytenbach is a South African actor born on 14 June 1979. English-speaking, trained in Voice Acting, Rugby and Firearms. Studied and graduated from Cape Town, South Africa's CityVarsity School of Media Studies and Creative Arts College, with a Diploma in Acting for Camera. Made his screen debut as early as 1993. Appeared in features including Starship Troopers 3: Marauder (2008) and mainstream television series including Black Sails (2014), Deutschland 86 (2018) and Troy: Fall of a City (2018).

Garth Breytenbach is a South African actor, born in Cape Town in 1979 and currently based in Cape Town. He worked in London to pursue a career in the hospitality industry but his passion for acting and film lured him back to Cape Town to study Acting for Camera and to make his mark on the film map. Predominantly a character actor he has notched up a long list of roles on the big and the small screen, making his acting debut on the mini-series, The Triangle (2005) directed by Craid R Baxley and then went on to appear in numerous other local and international productions. Garth has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the business and continues to add great credits like Troy: fall Of A City (2018), Madiba (2017), Beyond The River (2017) and Five Fingers For Marseilles (2017) to his resume. Career highlights include working opposite Idris Elba on Long Walk to Freedom (2013), acting with Laurence Fishburne on Madiba (2017), playing a real-life person in the much-loved South African film Beyond The River (2017) and being part of the critically acclaimed western, Five Fingers For Marseilles that has wowed audiences around the world. A notable mention is that Garth also played Ajax, the Greek warrior in the BBC and Netflix mini-series Troy: Fall Of A City (2018).
