Biography

Jocelin Donahue is an American actress who first garnered attention for her breakout role in Ti West's critically acclaimed The House of the Devil (2009), turning in what IndieWire called "one of the all-time great final girl performances." In the years since, Donahue has earned a reputation for versatile performances across arthouse cinema and studio productions. Her lead role in 2023's The Last Stop in Yuma County (2023), a neo-Western thriller directed by Francis Galluppi, brought Variety to call her "an independent film legend."

In major studio features, Donahue has worked with preeminent directors including James Wan on Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) and Furious 7 (2015), and with Terrence Malick on Knight of Cups (2015), playing opposite Christian Bale and Antonio Banderas. In 2019, she appeared in Warner Bros.' Doctor Sleep (2019), the sequel to Stephen King's The Shining (1980), directed by horror impresario Mike Flanagan.

Her television credits include a memorable recurring role as a rookie FBI agent and partner to Martin Freeman on the crime series StartUp (2016), and guest appearances on Lethal Weapon (2016), The Rookie: Feds (2022), The Affair (2014), and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), among others. In 2022, she starred in the BAFTA-nominated cinematic video game Immortality (2022).

As a commercial actress, Donahue has worked with directors including David O. Russell, James Gray, Craig Gillespie and Roman Coppola.
