Biography

Steve Sanders made his film debut in the 2007 classic documentary The King of Kong. Known as "The Original King of Kong" because the KC Star newspaper dubbed him "The King of Kong" in the spring of 1983, Sanders has since appeared in a handful of other video game documentaries, including Arcades & Love Songs: The Ballad of Walter Day.

The best-selling author of The Video Master's Guide to Donkey Kong, Sanders set Guinness Book records on Pac-Man (October 1981), Donkey Kong (February 1982), Super-Pacman (January 1983), and Joust (July 1983).

Sanders is a family man, married to the same woman his whole life, Nancy, who has given him five amazing sons.

Sanders is a trial attorney, a civil prosecutor who holds bullies accountable with the help of judges and juries.
