- Father, with wife Sema Ergenekon, of two daughters, Asya Aslan (b. October 26, 2005) and Alya Aslan (b. January 2009), and one son, Sems Aslan (b. 2011).
- His father died at the age of 98, and his parents were married for 75 years.
- In 1998, he met Sema Ergenekon while both were studying at the Ankara University, and they started dating shortly afterwards. On September 25, 2005, they got married after 7 years together.
