- Ben is one of the co-producers of an Oscar-and BAFTA-nominated film, originally from Transylvania and now based in London with Vampires In The Sun, UK. His body of work spans critically acclaimed, award-winning, and commercially successful European films.
He is a voting member of BAFTA and the European Film Academy.
His best-known work is his role as the Romanian co-producer of Quo Vadis, Aida?, directed by Jasmila Žbanić, a landmark Eastern European film that was nominated for both an Academy Award and a BAFTA in 2021, and went on to win Best Film at the European Film Awards in 2022.
Other highlights of his career include Donbas (Un Certain Regard Award, Cannes 2018), Ana, Mon Amour (Silver Bear, Berlinale 2017), and Albüm (Critics’ Week Award, Cannes 2016).
