Biography

Hülya Özkan was born in 1956 in Turkey. She is a writer and actress, known for Homicide Unit Istanbul (2008), Back Streets (2006) and The Tulip Age (2010). She is married to Thomas Bellut. They have two children.

Is of Turkish descent.

Her first novel "Mord am Bospurus" (Murder on the Bospurus) was published in 2006.

Lives in Mainz and Istanbul.
