Biography

Robert Bellissimo has appeared in numerous plays, commercials, music videos, industrial ads, short films, feature films and on television in Toronto, Canada, London, England and in various cities in the USA.

He studied acting at George Brown Theatre School and The New School of Drama in Toronto, Canada. He continued his studies at The Actor's Temple in London, England.

He has been in commercials for Rogers, Ontario Tourism, Nissan and the Niagara Wine trail to name a few.

Robert has also written and directed 3 short films. He also co-wrote, co-produced and starred in "Buddies", which has been screened in various festivals.

Robert Bellissimo is a full member of ACTRA and Canadian Actors Equity Association, and has been acting professionally since 2008. He is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School's certificate program and also graduated from "The New School of Drama's" two-year diploma program. He continued his studies with Lewis Baumander in Toronto and at "The Actor's Temple" in London, England.

Robert has appeared in numerous plays, short films, feature films, commercials and television shows. He has worked as an actor in Toronto, Montreal, Thunder Bay and in London, England.

Most recent credits include "Mariner", a short film that screened at TIFF, The Cannes Film Festival and many more festivals around the world. "Mariner" was named one of the top 10 best short films in Canada by TIFF. Other notable appearances are in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" and "Alias Grace".

After teaching acting classes at various studios in Toronto over the years, Robert decided to begin teaching at his own acting studio that he opened in 2017.
