Meelah Adams

Meelah Adams is a Kazakhstan-born actor based in Cologne, Germany. With family roots in Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania, she grew up between cultures after moving to Germany at a young age and performs in German and Russian as native languages as well as in English. She studied media production and began collaborating with director-writer Erdal Ceylan during her studies. Together they created the short film Selfie from Hell, which gained international attention online and became widely known as a viral video. The project later developed into the Canadian feature film of the same title, filmed in Vancouver, where Meelah played one of the lead roles, Julia. Her work frequently appears in genre-driven films, particularly within mystery, horror, science fiction and psychological suspense. Alongside acting, Meelah has also contributed to several projects behind the camera in development and production.
