Dennis W. Fitzgerald

Dennis W. Fitzgerald is a director and editor, known for his music videos for artists such as The Shins, The Decemberists, The Thermals, Josh Ritter, Toadies, and Ben Lee. Born in Vietnam, Fitzgerald moved to the United States at the age of three. He attended the Vancouver Film School in British Columbia, Canada where he majored in Film Production. He spent his next twenty years after graduating in Texas, New York, and Oregon working as a director and editor for commercials and music videos including Dallas' Easy Way Editorial, New York's Berwyn Editorial, and Portland's Food Chain Films. While with Food Chain, and with producer and fellow Vancouver Film School alumnus Neil Kopp, he directed a number of music videos for Portland-based artists well as national and international artists and commercial work mainly for Nike.
