Chrissy Hogue Bartels is a Lebanese-American SAG-AFTRA actor, voiceover artist, and producer with a reputation for portraying strong, grounded women who balance grit with warmth. Whether stepping into the shoes of a grumpy bartender on NBC's Chicago P.D., embodying seven wildly distinct characters in the Pulitzer Prize-nominated solo play The Stupid Economy, or voicing witty, muscular characters for video games, Chrissy brings depth, range, and authenticity to every role.

She is developing additional projects through her producing partnership with Emmy Award-winning casting director Ross Meyerson. Her IMPA Award for Best Supporting Actor highlights her ability to move fluidly from comedy to high-stakes drama.

Chrissy trained at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, The Acting Studio Chicago, and The Second City, and continues to sharpen her craft with James Ciccone at The Actor's Axiom. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a concentration in Acting and a Master of Fine Arts in Film & Television with an emphasis in Script & Screenwriting, blending academic mastery with hands-on professional experience. With over 25 years of continuous training in acting, improvisation, and stand-up, she combines classical technique with quick comedic instincts to create memorable, layered performances. Her Shakespeare training has also given her the vocal strength and physical precision that translate seamlessly into screen, stage, and voice work.

As a voiceover artist, Chrissy offers broadcast-quality recording from her professional home studio, recently training with casting director Terry Berland to expand into video games, narration, and commercial VO. Her natural reads bring authority and clarity to nonfiction and medical/pharma narration, while her grounded humor and edge make her a natural fit for character-driven video games.
