Bastiaan Koch is a Directors Guild of America (DGA) director, producer, and visual effects supervisor known for his work bridging emotional storytelling with large-scale spectacle. With roots in London theatre and over a decade at Lucasfilm's Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), Koch has contributed to major franchises including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Transformers, Marvel, Batman, and Barbie. He most recently served as Production Visual Effects Supervisor on Apple TV+'s Cape Fear. His directing work explores themes of intimacy colliding with myth, technology, and transformation.
