Stéphane Rituit opens doors for storytellers of the future. An award-winning film and video producer, Stéphane has co-built Felix & Paul Studios into a unique content studio that brings creators' stories to life in previously unimaginable ways. In the early 2000s, Stéphane began to cultivate his visionary approach as a producer with Isuma Igloolik Productions, the radical visual storytelling company responsible for Inuit feature Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner, widely considered one of the best Canadian films ever made. Inspired by the uncompromising commitment that creators and Isuma founders Norman Cohn and Zacharias Kunuk OC gave to every story, he explored innovative ways to advance their projects, from ingenious financing strategies to acquiring new technologies. In the mid-2000s, Stéphane's creative alliance with collaborators Félix Lajeunesse and Paul Raphaël extended his visionary approach into new realms of immersive storytelling. Together, Stéphane, Félix and Paul started stretching the conventions of cinema by inventing experimental forms of filmmaking for documentaries and features (such as Tanya Tagaq-starring Tungijuq) and constructing bespoke technologies and tools, including a 3D stereoscopic camera that added vivid physical depth to their visuals. In 2013, they produced the first ever cinematic VR experience, Strangers, thereby launching Felix & Paul Studios. Today, in an increasingly experiential world, the company continues to pave the way to more immersive and emotionally engaging experiences, as Stéphane drives the studio to explore the unknown, set creative industry standards and redefine entertainment.
