Will Tizard

A former California crime reporter, Will Tizard grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, taking to the stage in high school before studying briefly at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, then at Northwestern University, where, after a handful of roles, he shifted gears to film studies and journalism. The quest for meaningful stories took him through newsrooms in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, then eventually to Prague. While still writing and filming independent projects, he's appeared in several films and TV spots in international productions, usually in character roles that tend to suit his old soul look and demeanor. His greatest inspirations are film noir, Ethiopian coffee, JS Bach and desert sage - the latter of which he attributes to at least one likely Apache ancestor.
