Golnaz Jamsheed holds a BA in Film, Television, and Media from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MA in Directing and Producing from the London Film School, where she received the Magic of Persia Scholarship, and an MFA from the David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts, supported by a Joanna Plafsky-funded David Lynch MFA scholarship.
Her recent work includes the short film Pregnant (2022), based on the short story from I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere by Anna Gavalda. Her filmography also includes Avo (2015), which explores the Armenian minority in Iran. In addition, she has directed the music videos for Everest and The Truth Is by Chrysta Bell, with music produced by David Lynch.
