Karina Michel is an Emmy Award-winning British-American actress, director, producer, journalist, and podcast host whose work spans film, television, and impactful storytelling. With a passion for speech and drama performance from a young age, she began her career early, later modeling with prestigious agencies including Ford Models and Otto Models in New York and Los Angeles. She began in fashion campaigns, commercials and music videos such as Jennifer Lopez, Phantom Planet, Dwight Yoakam, Poe and Robbie Williams.

Transitioning into television and film, Karina appeared in projects including Dexter, Entourage, CSI: NY, and Transformers 2, and has since contributed to over 100 productions. Her career has evolved into a powerful blend of acting, producing, and purpose-driven storytelling.

As a filmmaker and journalist, Karina is known for creating content that explores meaningful social issues and human-centered narratives where her natural curiosity and intuitive awareness became defining strengths. Karina won an Emmy Award for Heart of FL: PD, a film she directed, produced and starred in. Additionally, she contributed to the production of Queens, which was nominated for the prestigious Iris Prize for Best British Film.
