Rock Newman was born in 1952 in Brandywine, Maryland, USA. He is a producer, known for Elite Youth (2020), The One and Only Dick Gregory (2021) and Legendary Nights (2003).

Graduated from Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine, Maryland.

Managed Riddick Bowe in his rise to Heavyweight Champion of the World..

Was sued in 2004 by Riddick Bowe alleging that he stole money from Bowe throughout his professional career. Bowe later dropped the charges and sent Newman an official letter of apology.
