As a teen, Thomai ran an activist multi-media conceptual art and theater company, directing, writing, and performing as a dancer, actor, and aerialist. Thomai was recently selected as one of eight women for the Black Magic Collective: Future Women of Television Initiative. Thomai participates in mutual aid guiding yoga, meditation, mentoring within the film industry and providing meals to food insecure communities.
