Lupe Fuentes was born Zuleydy Piedrahita to a Spanish father and a Colombian mother on
January 27, 1987, in Santiago de Cali, Colombia, and raised in Madrid,
Spain. As a child she participated in synchronized swimming
competitions, trained in classical ballet and studied dancing styles
from all over the world. She started modeling while in high school and
initially performed under the stage name of Zuleidy prior to moving to
America and changing her name to Lupe. She launched her own website in
2007.
In 2009 Fuentes signed a contract with the adult video production company Teravision. She went on to sign an exclusive one-year contract with Wicked Pictures in June 2010. She not only directs and produces her own explicit hardcore movies for her own company, Lupe Fuentes Productions, but has modeled on numerous Internet adult websites using the name Little Lupe. She has been featured in such magazines as "Siete", "Primera Linea" and "FHM Spain" and has written a column for the website Complex.com. She resides in Los Angeles, California.
